It looks set for gains to above 1.2048. Supports at 1.1975 and 1.1992. A break of 1.1957 will damage this bullish structure.
USD-CHF
1.2901.
Current rise seems to be over near 1.2916 or 1.2942 for a retracement towards 1.289 - 1.287 area.
USD-JPY
115.66.
It should register further gains to 116.24 while 115.35 caps downside attempts. Stop loss below 115.04 zone.
GBP-USD
1.7727.
Corrective dips should ideally halt near 1.7699 or 1.7677 for one more thrust upwards towards 1.7735 - 1.7771 area or 1.7816 in extention. Fall below 1.7654 puts it back on a downward path.
EUR-CHF
1.5498.
Current rise seems to be over near 1.5501 or 1.5528 for a retracement towards 1.5473 - 1.5458 area.
EUR-JPY
138.93.
Current fall is near an end of wave around 137.77 - 138.62 zone, a rally should then procede to above 139.44 or 139.85. Fall below 137.3 would cancel this scenario.
EUR-GBP
0.6777.
Corrective dips should ideally halt near 0.6777 or 0.6772 for one more thrust upwards towards 0.6782 - 0.6786 area or 0.6796 in extention. Fall below 0.6767 puts it back on a downward path.
AUD-USD
0.7436.
It may meet resistance in 0.7436 - 0.7446 zone for a drift down to 0.7405 zone, after which bounce to 0.746 is anticipated.

USD/CAD
1.1590.
Currently uptrend should end around 1.1605 - 1.1611 area. A correction down to below 1.1556 is expected. A rise above 1.1633 will abort the expected correction.

It may attempt a test higher to 1.2023 after which weakness may set it to a drift down to below 1.1975 limit.
USD-CHF
1.2923.
A corrective/consolidation activity between 1.2881 and 1.2942 is likely for a while.
USD-JPY
116.15.
A corrective/consolidation activity between 115.59 and 116.35 is likely for a while.
GBP-USD
1.7628.
It should see a sell off to below 1.7569 while 1.7651 area curtails its upside. A break beyond 1.7709 will abort the downside.
EUR-CHF
1.5517
. Uptrend is still intact in a triangle configuration. It should continue to rally to 1.5528 or 1.5551 if support around 1.5512 hold. After which a pullback to 1.5512 - 1.5504 zone is possible.
EUR-JPY
139.45.
There are initial signs of a good corrective recovery towards 140.03 or even 140.61. Supports at 139.18 and 138.89 zone.
EUR-GBP
0.6811.
Uptrend is still intact in a triangle configuration. It should continue to rally to 0.6821 or 0.6842 if support around 0.6801 hold. After which a pullback to 0.6801 - 0.6794 zone is possible.
AUD-USD
0.7400.
Overall structure is bearish. Decelerating momentum could attract it towards supports at 0.7387 or 0.7375. Major support is clustered around 0.7333 limit.
USD-CAD
1.1690.
Uptrend is still intact in a triangle configuration. It should continue to rally to 1.1730 or 1.1779 if support around 1.1657 hold. After which a pullback to 1.1657 - 1.1635 zone is possible.

A look at current Events and Issues

Yesterdays News and Events:

Markets remained fairly quiet and range-bound. Overall the Dollar gained over the course of the last 24h with USDJPY finally back above 116.60 and GBPUSD falling to below 1.76. EURUSD remains sidelined and we expect trading to slow considerably in the coming 3 days.

Mr. Issing yesterday said that the ECB cannot ignore the high levels of liquidity in the Euro zone. Economic growth was improving in line with the central banks forecast, but he stopped short of saying that rates will have to be raised again.
Todays Key Issues:

Euroland October Trade Balance is due at 10am, a small surplus is forecast, more or less in line with the previous months €1.4Mln.

US November PPI is due at 1.30pmGMT, it’s expected to drop 0.5%. Core PPI should rise by 0.2%. At the same time November Housing Starts will be reported, they are forecast at a slightly weaker 2m units, last month they stood at 2.014m.
The Risk Today: 1H EURUSD: Range trading to continue in a narrower range of just 1.1980 – 1.2010 likely today. Breaking out of this range bears a risk of 1.1885 max to the downside and 1.2070 to the upside.

4H GBPUSD: It fell more than a cent to reach 4-week rising trend-line at 1.7600, this is the buy level and we should climb back near 1.77 today, but again expect a slow day with small movements only. A break to the downside carries a risk for 1.7500.

Uptrend is still intact in a triangle configuration. It should continue to rally to 1.3179 or 1.3241 if support around 1.304 hold. After which a pullback to 1.304 - 1.3003 zone is possible.
USD-JPY
117.25.
Current rise seems to be over near 117.27 or 117.7 for a retracement towards 116.84 - 116.61 area.
GBP-USD
1.7547.
Market should not go lower than 1.7487. After this move down it should go up to 1.7537 - 1.7585 area.
EUR-CHF
1.5523.
Our preferred view is for a drift down to 1.5506 or below 1.5489. Resistances is at 1.5508. A rise above 1.5545 would delay but not abort this expected fall.
EUR-JPY
139.03.
While below 139.18 - 139.49 it might drop to 138.41 or below 137.8 zone.
EUR-GBP
0.6758.
Current fall seems to be over near 0.6752 or 0.673 for a rebound towards 0.6774 - 0.6788 area.
AUD-USD

. Market should not go lower than 0.7293. After this move down it should go up to 0.7328 - 0.7358 area.
USD-CAD
1.1723.
While below 1.1764 it is more likely to fall further towards 1.1692 or 1.1671. Premature rise above 1.1764 could see it rising above 1.1806 zone.

A look at current Events and Issues

Yesterdays News and Events:

The ranges broke and the Dollar advanced to or even beyond key levels in empty markets with little real flow. EURUSD reached a low of 1.1840 and despite a low close, 1.1885 remains key level to watch.

US data was mixed, November PPI was down 0.7%, largest drop in nearly 3 years, this is not supportive of the Dollar as it may influence the FED to stop raising rates. November Housing Starts was the positive highlight, 2.123m units were started and permits for 2.155m units granted and it sparked the Dollar rally from 1.1960 to the days low.

Sources close to the ECB are forecasting two quarter point rate hikes by the ECB next year, the first is likely to take place in March, the 2nd sometimes later in the year. The overall mood seem to point to the fact that money supply is still large and economic recovery well underway, but it will need facts in form of strong data releases to warrant the moves.
Todays Key Issues:

Minutes of the early December BOE MPC meeting will be released at 9.30am, the number of votes for leaving rates unchanged will be of interest as well as any hints of what to expect early next year.

At 1.30pm the US will release its final 3rd Quarter GDP and Personal Consumption data, GDP should remain unchanged at a strong 4.3%, Consumption is expected to remain at the 4.2% level, unchanged from last months release.
The Risk Today: Daily EURUSD: With a swift move to end the day underneath of the 1.1885 key level yesterday. Another lower daily close today is bearish and we may continue to fall in empty markets, next strong support at 1.1750, with support at 1.1840 and 1.1800 on the way down, resistance levels at 1.1900, 1.1960 strong, key is only at 1.2065.

4H GBPUSD once more: The rising support was broken after the US data, sending the pair to a low of 1.7530 so far, next strong support 1.7510. Strong resistance at 1.7610 and key at 1.7660ish, risk is to continue lower to reach 1.7425 or as low as 1.7340 by Friday.
