Eur/Usd broke the uptrend line yesterday and sellers then pushed this lower to 1.3875. There has been a little bounce back from these lows and this does leave scope for buyers to come in and take this higher today.
1.4035/40 is your first obstacle. Once buyers have dispatched with this resistance it would leave the 1.4076 targeted. Buyers therefore will be covering to here. Sellers, as stated, will be around, but they will be nervous and they will not hold shorts if buyers take this above 1.4085. 1.4110 to 1.4150 would then be the short term objective.
Now if the buyers fail in their duty today and the market loses 1.3950 you will see th 1.3875 support once more tested. Sellers are expected to cover to here. Buyers will be evident, but they will be nervous and looking to turn if the market breaks 1.3825

EUR / USD
In low volatility, the pair is on a slight recovery path this European morning and is currently trading at 1.3970, up from lows around 1.3900. We see another downmove coming today, most probably breaking the 1.3900 level on the down side.

GBP / USD
Cable took another dive in early European trading, right now to 1.6180, after some recovery in the Asian hours. We expect the recent lows around 1.6100 to be tested again in today’s trading and eventually surpassed on the downside.

USD / CHF
The dollar seems to be preparing a springboard for an upmove today, trading currently above a solid support around 1.0850 and priced right now at 1.0865. We expect an upward attack today, to the 1.0950 resistance level.

USD / JPY
Consolidating lower levels in Asian trading, the dollar is maintaining this stance in this European morning, currently priced around 95.20. We expect another drop in this market today, leading to levels around 94.60

Pair remains bearish after failing to break back above the 1.6300 level. Indicators point for further losses both in 1 and 4 hours charts, thus 200 EMA around 1.6150 in 4 hours is offering strong support. Candle opening under that level could trigger some more bearish momentum in the pair, with 1.6070 as probable target for today.

Resistance levels: 1.6258 1.6300 1.6335

Pair broke above 1.4100, reaching an intraday high of 1.4050 before where the pair rebounded. Now approaching back to 1.4000 and with indicators a bit exhausted to the upside in the hourly, 200 EMA is holding the downside in the hourly. Indicators suggest downside movement could continue under 1.3990/1.4000 zone, thus lack of fundamental data will leave the pair in the hands of U.S. stocks.

Resistance levels: 1.4030 1.4060 1.4100

Not much change since last update, pair remains consolidating just above the 95.00 zone, with bigger time frames slightly bearish at the moment. Break under 94.80/95.00 could trigger again some selling pressure but 94.40/60 zone should hold the downside again

Failure under 1.0800 sends the pair back above 1.0840, key supp/res zone. Hovering around that zone, pair needs to confirms above 20 SMA that’s losing bearish steam, to confirm the upside bias and extend rally close to 1.0900

7/07/2009 – NZD/USD – Price action on NZD/USD, a daily chart of which is shown, has made a bullish pullback correction after breaking down below a key uptrend support line extending from the March lows. Any breakdown below 0.6240, which was the low point before the pullback, would confirm a continuation of the trendline breakdown, and should easily target strong further support in the key 0.6100 support/resistance region. And any subsequent breakdown below that 0.6100 level could indicate a major reversal in the current overall uptrend. For the time being, however, this currency pair continues to travel in a sideways consolidation, much like other dollar-based pairs. To the upside, the key level to watch would be the 0.6600 price region, a breakout above which would signify a clear uptrend continuation.

EURUSD has formed resistance at 1.3993 and support line at 1.3892. In previous analysis was stated that bears can control the situation, and current situation confirms that action even though bulls were trying to fight back. However trend is neutral for now with a chance to break support line and enter the negative zone.
