Today's Trade Analysis: Euro shjould find a ST top around 1.2170/95 & develop a downmove toeward 1.2005 support & even lower. Key ST level 1.2220.

Medium Term Trend: Watch 114.30/112.80 as this ST support could spark a ST retracement to 118.80 & 119.50, B4 continue dowmward 2 MT target 113.15/112.5

GBP-1.7653 11th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

Pound was supported well at 1.7630 levels but could not break above 1.7670. A quick pull back from there eliminated us from our 1.7635 buy position at entry for no P/L. However we would still stay in the same view expecting the currency to rally towards 1.7750 and 1.7800. So prefer buying again at 1.7620 for the above said target to be reached.

Buy @ 1.7620 for 1.7740 min, with stop below 1.7590.

EUR-1.2128 12th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

Euro once again failed to test the expected support 1.2020, but reached perfectly to our target 1.2140. However for now we would expect the currency to rally towards 1.2200 and above. So prefer buying on dips near 1.2080 for the above said target to be reached.

Buy @ 1.2080 for 1.2180, with stop below 1.2050.

JPY-114.22 13th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

As expected, Yen found support at 113.50 levels, but could not rally above 114.40. So we exited our 113.60 buy position at 114.15 for a profit of 55 pips. For now we would still expect the currency to raise towards 115.00. S0 prefer buying on dips near 113.90 for the currency to rally towards the above said target to be reached.

Buy @ 113.90 for 114.80, with stop below 113.60.

Swiss also made a direct decline and we were eliminated out from our 1.2820 buy position for no P/L. However for now we would prefer going short on raise near 1.2790 for the currency to decline towards 1,2600. So look to initiate a fresh sell on the above said resistance level.

As expected Pound has been drifting down and should continue further down towards 1.7600 and lower. So the current bounce should be that of a short-term. We would expect the currency to be capped near 1.7720 for the above said decline to be seen. So prefer selling on raise near 1.7710 for a target at 1.7600 to be reached.

Euro is also slowly grinding higher towards 2250. For now we would expect the currency to hold above 1.1950, after which we would Look for the currency to raise towards 1.2040. So prefer buying on such dips near 1.2040.

No change in view. Yen also has reached the expected target 114.80 but did not get near our selling level. For now we would expect the currency to decline further down towards 113.50 during the following sessions. So prefer selling if 115.50 is seen first, for the above said target to be reached.

Swiss has made a decline sharply and the currency has reached our target perfectly. But we exited our 1.2880 sell position at 1.2830 for a 50 pips profit. For now as long as 1.2800 acts as resistance, we would prefer selling the currency for a decline towards 1.2600 and lower.



Sell @ 1.2800 for an open target, with stop above 1.2830.
