Medium Term Trend: ST upmove could be held @ 1.1980/1.2060 resistances, sending trend downward to 1.1630/1550, B4 move up to 1.2245, then down 1.1255

Today's Trade Analysis: Euro ST upmove was rejected, but seems support around 1.18 will contain & attempt another move higher, toward @ least 1.1910/30

USD/JPY

Wave 2 of the Minor degree inverted Impulse with a rating of 96.8 is expected to complete in the price range 116.231 to 117.63, but more probably between 117.20 & 117.60 This wave is due to complete anytime from now until 22:00 06-Jan-2006, but is most likely to complete before 03:00 28-Dec-2005.

Medium Term Trend: Watch 114.80/30 as this ST support could spark a ST retracement to 118.80 & 119.50, B4 continue dowmward 2 MT target 113.15/112.5

Asian Session Expected Movement: ↓

Today's Trade Analysis: Yen is correcting from oversold levels. It should find resistance around 117.45 & continue its downmove toward 115.30 previous low

Supports: 117.00/116.65/116.20

GBP-1.7272 3rd Jan,2006 Pre-European Update

Pound is slowly recovering from the losses of last week, and is currently trading just below 1.7300. For now if the currency manages to break above 1.7340 then we might see a rally back towards 1.7450, but is this level provides resistance then we should see one more decline below 1.7150. However we would prefer selling on raise near 1.7330.

Sell @ 1.7330 for 1.7225, with stop above 1.7360.

CAD-1.1553 4th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

As said earlier, Canadian dollar has broken below the 1.1600 support level and this break has so far pulled the currency down till 1.1530. For now we would expect 1.1600 level to provide resistance and we would prefer selling if 1.1600 is seen first. Expect the a decline towards 115.00 and lower.

Sell @ 1.1600 for 1.1480, with stop above 1.1630.

Wave C of the Minor degree inverted Flat with a rating of 100.5 is expected to complete in the price range probably between 1.2035 & 1.2060 This wave could complete anytime between now and 13:00 27-Jan-2006, but is most likely to complete sometime between 08:00 05-Jan-2006 and 14:00 17-Jan-2006.

Medium Term Trend: ST upmove could be held @ 1.1980/1.2060 resistances, sending trend downward to 1.1630/1550, B4 move up to 1.2245, then down 1.1255

Asian Session Expected Movement: ↓

Today's Trade Analysis: Euro correct higher, but 1.2060 resistance will contain & send trend lower (watch my weekly dispatch). Hold position & put stop @ 1.2095

Supports: 1.2015/1.1980/1.1955

Resistances: 1.2060/1.2095/1.2130

Plan: Maintain position, Eur will retrace from 1.2060 resistance toward 1.18 or below

USD/JPY

Wave c of the Minute degree Flat with a rating of 84.8 is expected to complete in the price range probably between 115.85 & 115.45 This wave is due to complete anytime from now until 04:00 16-Jan-2006, but is most likely to complete before 13:00 06-Jan-2006.

Medium Term Trend: Watch 114.80/30 as this ST support could spark a ST retracement to 118.80 & 119.50, B4 continue dowmward 2 MT target 113.15/112.5

Today's Trade Analysis: Yen could go a little lower yet, B4 resume its ST move. If 115.75 stop activated, enter again in the same level, stop below 115.25.

Plan: 115.85 should hold. Mantain position. ST upmove should be around the corner

As expected Swiss declined from 1.2820 but could not break below 1.2760. So we exited our 1.2820 sell position at 1.2770 for a 50 pips profit. For now we would expect the currency to decline further down towards 1.2700 and lower. So we would prefer selling again on raise near 1.2820 for the above said target to be reached.

JPY-114.39 9th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

Yen fell perfectly in the expected direction, but fell 100 pips more than our expected target. However we booked a profit of 90 pips for our 116.20 sell position at 115.30. For now some more low should be seen before a corrective bounce back. So prefer buying on dips near 113.80 for raise towards 114.70 or 115.50.

Buy @ 113.80 for 114.70 min, with stop below 113.50.

JPY-114.41 10th Jan,2006 Pre-Japanese Update

Yen traded in line with our expectation and has reached our target at 114.70. However we exited our 113.80 buy position at 114.35 for a 55 pips profit. For now we would expect 114.00 to provide support for the currency to raise towards 115.50. So prefer buying again at 114.10 for the above said target to be reached.

Buy @ 114.10 for 114.90 min, with stop below 113.80
