Today's Technical Comments :

• Euro: Euro retreated to the levels of 1.4029 in the early US session on Friday, however, recovered completely to the levels of 1.4155 levels. Euro, which had broken the channel support is currently trading below the same at 1.4130 levels(200 Days EMA in the hourly chart and 55 Days EMA in the 4-hrly chart). Although, the bias remains on the upside - A short term top seems to be in place at 1.4280 levels for sometime. The 4-hrly stochastic is in the overbought region. Avoid initiating positions today as the US & Japan market is closed today and not much movement is anticipated (eur/usd – 1.4132).

• Pound: Cable's retracement was limited around the levels of 2.03 after strong Non farm payrolls of the US in Friday's session. Susequently, Cable recovered back and extended to 2.0440 levels depicting the underlying weakness in dollar. Currently, Cable is trading around 2.0420 levels. The bias remains on the upside and may bring a retest of 2.0490. Breaking of this level can push cable to 2.0650 levels (Recent top). Look for opportunities to initiate longs around 2.04 levels with a target of 40-50 pips. The focus would be on the PPI data of the UK.(gbp/usd - 2.0420).

• Yen: Yen weakened almost 90-100 pips in Friday's session and is currently trading at 117.10 levels (close to the 100 days EMA in the daily chart at 117.30). Sustaining below these levels could again push Yen to the levels of 114.00. The Japan Market is closed today on account of Health-Sports Day and not movement would be seen. Medium term target - 111.50 (usd/jpy - 117.08).

• Swiss Franc: Swissy weakened strongly to the extent of 1.1850 levels on Friday; however closed below 1.18 levels. The overall outlook remains bullish for Swissy as long as it sustains below 1.1870 levels (55 Days EMA in the daily chart). Currently, Swissy is trading around 1.1775 (100 Days EMA in the 4-hrly chart & 21 Days EMA in the daily chart at 1.1765). The daily and hourly stochastic is slightly overbought and opportunities to short the pair around 1.18 levels (near 38.2% Retracement) with a target of 40-45 pips can be considered. Medium term outlook remains 1.15-1.16 (usd/chf-1.1750)
  
  
  
  
• Gold: Gold surged almost $17-18 in Friday's session. Gold is currently trading around $740 levels and may bring a retest of $748 levels. The 4-hrly chart in the overbought region has also flattened. The outlook remains bullish on Gold. (Gold-$740.8)
