I've received plenty of e-mail regarding the correct position of the dollar setback. My preferred count places the setback as a fourth wave. Another count, my alternate count, places the setback as the correction the rally underway since November. Instead of arguing over which count is correct, they are both valid, lets look at the similarities.


Under both counts the dollar setback will prove corrective. That means the larger trend continues to favor the dollar relative to the majority of its competitors. Under the larger correction interpretation the three-wave setback might represent just the first leg of a correction. If a flat is unfolding the dollar will retest its high in a B wave. Both counts would be on the same path, with the preferred count ending after a new high within a fifth wave.


For now both interpretations agree, calling for a retest of the dollar peak. In my opinion it's the look beyond the Index to the other dollar pairs that swings the odds in favor of the idea that the dollar rally from November is incomplete. The heavy weighting of the euro within the Index hides the dollar's performance relative to other competitors.


For instance, the dollar has already started to rally against its Aussie and Canadian counterparts. It's setback relative to sterling looks corrective, has retraced 38.2% of its advance from November, reached the upper end of the fourth wave of one lesser degree, and fits into the decline from mid 2009 as a fourth wave. Dollar strength should soon spread to sterling.


The dollar recovery is likely to fail relative to the yen but for now the evidence suggests the dollar rally is incomplete. The setback from 95.00 looks corrective and the dollar may push to a new high for the year relative to the yen.


The outlook for dollar strength fits with the outlook for the dollar relative to a number of its competitors. The dollar is already strengthening against some and appears poised to strengthen against others. The latter group includes the euro. It's recovery from May is in three waves and could represent a correction.


Considering all this I believe it's best to favor the dollar, anticipating at least a test of its high for the year.

ما سبب وجود ABC في القاع ؟ اليس من المنطقي ان نرقم الموجة الهابطة من

121.02 الى 70.66 كموجة C علما انها مكونة من 5 موجات دافعة ولا ارى فيها

اي أخلال لشروط الموجة الدافعة ---- والشكر لكم مقدما

ننتظر اتجاه الخروج منه لأنه بالتأكيد سيكون له تأثير قوى على باقى العملات

على اليومى الترند يزداد قوى على الرغم من حركته فى موجات ثلاثية مما يؤكد اصراره على الوصول لمستهدف ال 80 نقطة عند (B)

على فريم الساعة حتى الأن نعتبر ما يفعله الدولار اندكس تصحيح بسيط داخل اخر ويفة هابطة و فى نفس الوقت اختبار للقناه السعرية التى تم كسرها

فقط فى حالة اختراق القناه لاعلى مرة اخرى يمكن ان تمتد منطقة التصحيح الى مستويات اعلى

و لكن هناك ملحوظة اراها فى كتير من الشارتات
المثلث فى اليوت لا يقل ابدا عن 5 اضلاع و من الممكن ان يزيد الى 7
المثلثات فى النماذج العادية فقط هى التى يمكن ان تتكون من 3 اضلاع
