But price is under the Kumo, Kijun Sen is doing good his job of resistance and looks like Tenkan Sen is turning its face downwards

Bearish sentiment is very strong confirmed by all the components of ichimoku. The only doubt is given by flat Tenkan Sen and Kijun Sen reflecting the indecision of the last weeks and a trendless condition. However, the probability seems to be more on the side of bearish than bullish

Flat Kijun Sen indicates a trendless condition and its level at 1.0876 is a strong point of equilibrium. This can be considered the boundary between bullish and bearish.
Tenkan Sen gave a weak bullish cross and now looks invalidated, price is under the kumo and chikou span is chasing the line of the price. At the end of the last week, bullish force rejected the
price above Kijun Sen but sentiment is so bearish that maybe will witness bullish capitulation

There is a great resistance in the area 1.1050-1.1100 which is holding down the price supported also by good news for CAD last week. Next difficulties for bearish sentiment are around 1.0750-
1.0775 support area. Breaking this area bearish force is ready to test 1.0630 level that is the low for almost last year.
No long position is recommended until resistance area at 1.1050-1.1100 keeps.

Last week price reached almost the coast of Daily Kumo when bounced down quickly drawn also by good CAD news. It stopped at a point of great confluence and balance. Today will have indication about the strength of Kijun Sen support but bullish were advised about Kumo resistence.

TS/KS cross below kumo implies a weak bullish bias with prices having closed with a range between the TS and KS and within the kumo. The fact we are seeing a flattening of this counter trend supports further that the coming weeks will likely define a new medium term trend direction

TS and KS are both flat indicating no immediate expectation of a strong breakout.

Flat top of kumo suggests a weak bullish attraction and that weekly candle could test TS resistance around 154.90 level (highlighted by top gold line)

Also, the narrowing of the kumo projection would lead us to believe that the market is still unsure as to the future trend direction. Chikou under price but pointing up so a neutral to weak bullish sign.

Nearest weekly support appears to be the KS around the 147.30 level (bottom gold line)

TS/KS cross occurred above the kumo implying a weak bearish bias however the most recent daily close above the TS indicates that this resistance level has been breached leaving the pair open to a test of the kumo base at 154.90 (this coincides almost perfectly with the TS on the weekly chart)

The kumo projection reversal just coming into view implies we may see a resumption of the longer term down trend once the logical resistance level is tested again.

Gold line shows chikou over run that occurred on the last leg down and supports the case for the short term retracement that is currently underway.

Chikou is well below the price action so not great upward support being provided for the bulls however it has turned upwards.

Clear break and close through kumo base supports case for further move upwards testing immediate resistance at the kumo top around 153.40.


Minor chikou over run on most recent bullish candle suggests we may see a more immediate retracement to test the lower kumo surface again before continuing higher with support found at the
152.30 area.

It is becoming clear in the kumo projection that there could be a further move down in the medium term as it steps down and begins to narrow.

Chikou is well above price so provides further room up to the kumo top.

With the flat line Ks acting like a magnet to the price into the uptrend Kumo cloud, and the Ts in the cloud pointing upward as it it wants to continue and cross the Ks again. I would have to call this a mixed bag leaning toward the bullish for the monthly. In this picture we could go either way, meaning the news and gold could send us in either direction. I would have said in a more confident sense that the case is definitely more bullish but the thinner cloud has me thinking otherwise in the event of a total reversal of trend. Lower TF's in this case have a much clearer picture. Overall for the monthly I am a cautious bull look for indications of exhaustion for the trend.

Let's get right into it...Bullish! Great angles on the TS/KS move upwards. Next question is where does it stop ? Well, Leading Kumo indicating is in agreement to higher highs also. Price Action shows Chikou Span well above candlesticks with room to grow. With a bit of consolidation on Friday and a finally push to present price at the time of this commentary of .8509 I can see a run easily to .8565 pause and continue on.

In an effort to get this out before Asian Markets the Lower TF's all support the Higher TF's. We may get an ease into the continuance of the trend due to the closure of the US Markets for Holidays but look for entry points on the lower TF's around Flat TS's and KS's. We have news later on today which may bring pullbacks to buy, but no one can predict the news!

Strong candlestick break through TS has continued with chikou now heading up towards the price action. A chikou cross could add strength to this move upwards.

Flat TS and KS along with projected kumo reversal imply that this may not be for long with a down ward continuation on the horizon.

The latest candle shows nice upward momentum given its length and a sustained break of 153.00 leaves it open to test resistance at 153.42 (kumo top) and beyond that it's 154.90 (weekly TS and daily kumo base)

Chikou is above price however distance is reducing so we may see a slower move up through the kumo top here.

The kumo has actually disappeared in the projection so not sure which storm clouds are on the horizon but it appears to be a reversal.

TS resistance around 152.80.

Short of 153.00 psychological resistance being encountered in the coming hour we should see a continuation up to the 153.42 area (kumo top on the 4hr chart)

Kumo projection supports a continuation upwards so we may end up seeing the
Daily kumo base/Weekly TS resistance level at 154.90.

: The main trend is mixed (Weekly, Daily and 4Hr). The weekend G20 meeting and the NFP release from Friday are reason enough to allow for a period of consolidation. Allow a trend to present itself, Intraday traders should mind the 1 and 4hr charts and respect the fact that a tight range has been in place for 2+ months. Let me point out that the average movement in the majors was 30 pips in 30 minute periods and generally the pair cannot hold those levels. Violent bursts of movement only to reverse. With that in mind, look to close half of position at 20 pips and move sl to break even and be prepared to take what you can get from the remaining order. 4Hr candle has broken Senkou span A, but the tenken-sen is below Kijun within kumo.
