EUR/USD – 09:00 (GMT+2) extension through 1.1670/75 lows of last week saw fresh low of 1.1660 reached on Monday, ahead of rebound. Scope now seen for further weakness towards 1.1628/42, ahead of the key 1.1590, 38% retrace of 0.8225/1.3670. Lower high by 1.1732/38 to sustain immed bear structure, while lift over 1.1775 needed to allow for a stronger recovery towards 1.1800/33.

USD/JPY – 09:00 (GMT+2)undergoes possible hourly bull flat consolidation following Monday’s sharp break over previous 118.40 rally top. Hourly focus is set at 119.00/10 region next, with break favoring extension towards 120.00 and 120.69 region, while 2-month rising channel continues to define bull trend. Rising 10-day MA is seen underpinning.

GBP/USD – 09:00 (GMT+2)has encountered resistance at 1.7497/1.7520 during rebound off last Tuesday’s 1.7326 low and subsequently withdrew to 1.7343 on Monday. Although daily oscillators currently languish in oversold region, a knee-jerk decline to 1.7316/1.7270, Fibonacci 1.618 ratio of 1.7905/1.7609 down-leg projected off 1.7795 lower high/20Jul yearly low, may happen before downtrend abates.

USD/CHF – 09:00 (GMT+2)rebound from 1.3065 higher low, above last week’s 1.3035-45 lows, on Monday, through last Tuesday’s 1.3175 high, saw 1.3212 reached on Monday, ahead of dips. Higher low sought by 1.3132/48 on correction ahead of fresh strength for extension to the 1.3230 (2004 high) and possibly 1.3265/80. Only losing the 1.3035/45 support reverts focus to the downside.

USD/CAD – 09:00 (GMT+2)remains in a wide and gently sloping recovery channel from 30Sep 1.1588 low, having extended through the 1.1924, 24Oct peak, to reach 1.1974 last Tuesday, before reversing to 1.1802 last Thursday, holding above the uptrend connecting 1.1643/1.1715 lows (27Oct/04Nov), ahead of latest rebound. Immediate sights on 1.1974 retest, eventual break favored to trigger 1.2030 next.

EUR/JPY – 09:00 (GMT+2) recovered to a high of 139.40, approx 50% retrace of 141.18/137.50 downleg, on Monday before subsequent easing, while highlighting last Wednesday/Friday double-bottom base. Headway over 139.40/78 however, is needed to validate base pattern breakout for 140.00/30. Until then, hourly pullback seeks a swing low towards 138.25/20, before next upside retry. Below which defers bulls.
