GBP/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.6546; (P) 1.6639; (R1) 1.6805; More
At this point, intraday bias in GBP/USD remains on the upside and further rally should be seen to next medium term target of 50% retracement of 2.1161 to 1.3503 at 1.7332. But upside momentum should diminish as GBP/USD approaches this level and we'll look for reversal signals then. On then downside, below 1.6644 minor support will turn intraday outlook neutral and bring consolidation. But retreat should be contained well above 1.6338 support and bring rally resumption.
In the bigger picture, there is no change in the broader outlook that rise from 1.3654 is the third leg of correction that started at 1.3503, which corrects the whole down trend from 2.1161. Such correction should be near to an end even though further rise would be seen after taking out 1.6742 high. Upside is still expected to be limited below 1.7332 as the correction is expected to conclude in resistance zone of 1.6428/7332 (38.2% and 50% retracement of 2.1161 to 1.3503). Decisive break of 1.5983 support will be an important signal that indicates such consolidation is already finished and will turn medium term outlook bearish for a retest of 1.3503 low eventually.

EUR/USD Daily Outlook

Daily Pivots: (S1) 1.4121; (P) 1.4200; (R1) 1.4336; More
EUR/USD retreats mildly after breaching 1.4303 briefly. But after all, intraday bias remains on the upside with 1.4163 minor support intact. Current rise is expected to retest 1.4337 high first. Break there will confirm medium term rally resumption to 61.8% projection of 1.2884 to 1.4337 from 1.3747 at 1.4645. On the downside, below 1.4163 minor support will turn intraday outlook neutral first and bring consolidation. But downside should be contained above 1.4007 support and bring rally resumption.
In the bigger picture, as noted before, medium term rise from 1.2456 is still in progress and a new high above 1.4337 will likely be seen. But after all, there is no change in the view that it's the third leg of consolidation pattern that started at 1.2329. Also, note that the possible five wave structure indicates that it's the last leg of such consolidation. Having said that, upside should be limited by cluster resistance at 1.4622/45 (61.8% retracement of 1.6039 to 1.2329 at 1.4622 and 61.8% projection of 1.2884 to 1.4337 from 1.3747 at 1.4645) to conclude the whole consolidation. On the downside, below 1.3832 support will be the first signal that rise from 1.2456 has completed. Sustained trading below channel support at 1.3780 will confirm and bring deep decline to 1.2329 eventually.

4 Hour chart trend: Mixed. Main price points: 58.30, 68.90 and 73.27. Looking for: Break through the 68.90
Oil made another fast and unexpected move during the past session, as the market sharply turned around the 50% Fibonacci support level. However, oil looks more bullish than bearish at the moment so we have focused on a bullish impulse count, especially if the break through the $68.90 area happens. This is key for a move into $73 per barrel. We are looking at a possible blue wave III confirmation that could send the market higher as a blue wave II looks to be completed around the recent $62 area. The $58.30 area must hold; other wise the wave count will have to be re-worked.
