EUR/USD – 09:00 (GMT+3) Friday's rebound off 1.2280/1.2310 followed earlier sell-off 1.2444 to 1.2290. Extension above 1.2400 reached 1.2435, returning focus to the upside. Immediate scope is set for retest of 1.2444/65 area and lift above the latter would open way for extension towards 1.2515/40, while 1.2330/50 underpins. Strategy: Buy at 1.2360. Target:: 1.2465. Stop: 1.2330.

USD/JPY – 09:00 (GMT+3) coils around 109.30/50 area following last Friday's sharp fall off major falling trendline resistance near 111.74. Scope is seen for final push towards 109.05/108.75 before stronger rebound can be anticipated, though 110.75 caps the upside for now. Strategy: Sell at 109.90. Target: 109.05. Stop: 110.20.

GBP/USD – 09:00 (GMT+3) rebounded from last Wednesday's 1.7745 low to reach 1.7965 and lapsed to a consolidation over 1.7920, Friday's NY session low. Holding above 1.7920/1.7895 keeps scope for further gains towards 1.7985/1.8005, while eventual loss of 1.7830/15 sidelines bulls. Position: Long at 1.7850. Target: 1.7985. Stop: 1.7885.

USD/CHF – 09:00 (GMT+3) fell sharply off 1.2650/10 area, last Friday, to reach 1.2470. Holding below 1.2510/00 keeps the downside in focus. Scope is seen for test of 1.2415, channel support and break lower would open way for extension towards 1.2400/1.2375. Strategy: Look to sell rallies.

EUR/JPY – 09:30 (GMT+3) extended losses off 137.50, major bear trendline resistance, to breach 136.00/135.85 area and reach 135.55 low. Soft short-term studies suggest further weakness and potential break below 135.55 will trigger a fall towards 135.30 and then 134.60/45 on break, while 136.00/40 is expected to cap. Strategy: Sell at 136.15. Target: 135.25. Stop: 136.50.

EUR/GBP – 09:30 (GMT+3) break above 0.6917 double top, extended gains to 0.6925 before the latest retereat. Dips should hold above 0.6895/85 area to stay on course for fresh attempt towards 0.6935/50, possibly 0.6970 on break, before a significant corrective phase. Strategy: Buy at 0.6900. Target: 0.6950. Stop: 0.6885.

EUR/CHF – 09:30 (GMT+3) rallied to 1.5557 on last wednesday, ahead of pullback to 1.5500 to retrace 38% of 1.5405/1.5557 rally. Bearish daily tools see risk for further slip towards 1.5475/62, possibly 1.5435/05 before forming the bottom. Position: Short at 1.5530. Target: 1.5475. Stop: 1.5540.

GBP/JPY – 09:30 (GMT+3) continues to weaken from 202.50/00 area, with break under 197.50 having exteneded losses to 196.09/05 area. Break below the latter threatens for furlther slip towards 194.00/193.60, while only sustained break above 198.30 firms for 200.00.25. Strategy: Look to sell higher.

CRUDE OIL- 09:45 (GMT+3) rallied higher during late Friday closing to reach 53.40, fresh contracts high. Potential is for further gains towards 53.65/70 ahead of channel top now shifted higher towards 55.50/60 area.Overbought daily studies warn of possible pullback with eventual loss of 51.85 risking 50.00. Strategy: Await signal. Look to buy lower.

GOLD – 09:50 (GMT+3) retains bullish tone following strong push off 411.25 to 424.50. Correction is underway ahead of fresh attempt higher to retest 423.70 and then 424.50, with eventual break above the latter would extend gains towards 425.95. However, 420.00 should contain dips and only loss of 417.00 would concern bulls. Position: Long at 420.50. Target: 425.95. Stop: under 419.00.

EUR/USD – 17:50 (GMT+3) accelerated the recovery from last Wed"s 1.2246 low to almost retest the 30Sep peak at 1.2444 on Fri, reaching 1.2435 before the latest correction lower. A higher low is now sought, ideally by 1.2330-48, for possibly clearance of key highs at 1.2444-62, opening an initial move towards 1.2513-42. Strategy: Long at 1.2350. Target: 1.2444. Stop: 1.2325.

USD/JPY – 17:50 (GMT+3) completed a top on Fri on a move below 110.96-111.00. This triggered a sharp fall to break below a 5 week bull channel at 110.00-05. 109.59-110.05 should now cap corrective attempts, while below, 109.04/108.76 attracts over coming sessions/days. A reclaim of 110.05 is required to turn negative-term focus higher. Strategy: Short at 109.80. Target: 108.76. Stop: 110.10.

GBP/USD – 17:50 (GMT+3) extended losses from 28Sep/01Oct 1.8163/1.8135 highs to 1.7745 last Weds before recovering. This accelerated on Fri to 1.7968 ahead of the latest 1.7927-1.7969 consol. While an initial dip towards 1.7865-95 not ruled out, eventual clearance of 1.7969-1.8003 area favored to open min extension to 1.8035-67. Strategy: long at 1.7845. Target: 1.8003. Stop: 1.7915.

USD/CHF – 17:50 (GMT+3) accelerated the retreat from last Wednesday’s 1.2685 high, almost fully retracing the rise from 1.2446 on 30Sep at Fri"s 1.2469 low. A correction higher has followed, this ideally needs to leave a lower top by former support at 1.2563-98 to maintain the short-term bear tone for a possibly break below 1.2446-69 towards 1.2377-1.2400. Strategy: Short at 1.2650. Target: 1.2446. Stop: 1.2605.

EUR/JPY – 17:50 (GMT+3) continues to weaken off 137.56 (28Sep high), reached following the earlier bull leg off 133.08. Supports at 135.87 (05Oct low) and 135.57 (24Sep low/1mth t-line) have now been lost, this triggers a fall to 134.46-57. Resist at 136.00 should now contain corrective attempts, only above here improves outlook. Strategy: Short at 135.75. Target: 134.57. Stop: 136.05.

EUR/GBP – 17:50 (GMT+3) slightly exceeded .6917 peaks seen 01/06Oct to reach .6925 on Fri following the .6884 higher low, above the .6865-72 base last Tues/Weds. A correction lower has followed, this has scope to leave a higher low by .6894 for resumption of uptrend to a min of .6932-50, possibly .6962-74 over coming days.

EUR/CHF – 17:50 (GMT+3) completed a short-term top at 1.5555-57 last Thurs by the reversal under 1.5525-29 lows made last Mon/Weds. Weakness initially slightly exceeded next support at 1.5501-18, with fresh losses now under way following a lower top at 1.5514-15. Attack on 1.5477, neck-line of 2-wk top under way, losing which opens 1.5433-48. Strategy: Short at 1.5528. Target: 1.5448. Stop: 1.5517.

GBP/JPY – 17:50 (GMT+3) extended recovery off 193.60 (07Sep low) to reach 202.50 on 28Sep. The following sell of broke below the bull t-line at 197.60 focusing the market lower over coming days. Daily momentum is weak & under support at 195.75-82 will open 195.10, ahead of a possibly full retrace to 193.60. A lower top at 197.60 should cap above. Strategy: Short at 197.50. Target: 195.10. Target: 198.05.

CRUDE OIL- 17:50 (GMT+3) Accelerating 3-week rise off 42.75 higher low to breach projected rising trend-lines top at 52.37/20 region. Headway now over 53.00 firms extension to a projected 53.65/70 ahead of 3-week rising channel top near psychological 55.00. Obvious over-extended conditions warn sudden lapse while under channel support at 51.45/40 risking 50.50/00 pullback. Strategy Look to buy

GOLD – 17:50 (GMT+3) Maintains the strong push off 411.25 after lateral consolidation was contained above 415.35. Fresh bull pressure pushes through 420.20 to meet the 423.70 target (371.00/408.70 adv, projected off 385.00) although room exists for further gains to the bull channel resistance at 424.50 and another target at 425.95. 420.00 should contain dips and only below 417.00 would concern bulls. Position Long at 420.50 for 425.95, stop below (419.00).
