Installing the EA on MT4
In order to install the EA on MT4 you must copy the SidewinderPRO_X.ex4 file into the ~/experts folder of your MetaTrader 4 installation.
1. Copy all 4 SidewinderPRO_X.ex4
2. Open the “~/experts” folder. Typical installations of MetaTrader are branded by broker. You will find the “experts” folder here:
C:\Program Files\< MetaTrader 4 install>\experts
3. Paste the 4 SidewinderPRO_X.ex4 files into the “experts” folder.
4. Stop and start MetaTrader 4.
Attaching the EA to the chart
When you turn on MT4 after the last step in the previous section, you should notice the new EA modules available on the left hand navigation menu under “Expert Advisors”. Open one hour chart(s) and attach the EA module(s) to the chart or charts as the case may be (ensuring that you do not use the same module more than once) by selecting it with your mouse and dragging it onto the chart. When you do this, the EA properties dialog box will appear. Here you can select your settings. Since this EA can be run on many different currencies, please refer to the table below for parameter recommendations.
