Looking for: A break of either side of the channel
Eur/Usd has traded to the upside in the last few sessions, and prices have invalidated our wave count on smaller time frames. We are back on a wave count from the daily chart that revealed a bearish channel from the 1.3737 high to 1.2888 lows which looks to be a corrective; prices are moving hard on the approach to the upper parallel line. The price action when trapped in a corrective channel is very slow, choppy and overlapping compared to an impulse structure. The first leg on the upside from the wave A lows looks to be an impulse; a powerful move in a very short time period with large move of pips has been made. The market traded against this trend recently in a corrective channel from which prices should now be able to hold higher, searching for new highs and resistance in the black wave B. We may be looking for a more complex corrective channel if the current 1.2888 lows easily hold.
