first of all i'd like to congratulate you brother WAGEH ALKHEER for the great work you did ,was a wonderfull analysis indeed.
but here i'd like to add a FUNDMENTAL dimension to the topic.
i think there more than one reason to say that the pound will not continue this sharp upward trend,my reasons are:
1- Europe had clearly expressed more than one time that a strong Euro ( and consequently British pound as well) are not welcome . i think all of us still remember what happened when the pound touched 1.90 2 months ago..so i think this level is not welcomed even by Europe itself as it will harm the fragile Economy at the time being.
2-the sudden sharp rise( 400 pips) in 2 days can not be interpreted as a TRUE UPTREND!! this is not the usual course that a normal uptrend takes! so i expect a violent retracement over the next 10 days. i think i might go back even to 1.87
3-Bank of Englan has no plans to add any further hikes for a long time and this will weaken the the current uptrend so soon.
4-Secretary Paulson this week in a puplic statement has confirmed that HE SUPPORTS a POLICY OF STRONG DOLLAR..so i think there should be something prepared to balance the latest softening of the Dollar .
