a : pronounced like the 'a' in " car " ... sala = ( sah-lah )

e : pronounced like the 'ai' in " said " ... letto = ( leht-toh )
or like ' e ' in " lemon " ... mela = ( meh-lah )

i : pronounced like the 'ee' in " meet " ... vino = ( vee-noh )

o : pronounced like the 'o' in " not " ... posta = ( pos-tah )

u : pronounced like the 'oo' in " moon " ... cura = ( koo-rah )

c : before 'e' and 'i' pronounced like the 'ch' in " church " ... ci = ( chee )

c : before 'o','a',and 'u' it's pronounced like the 'k' in " king " ... casa = ( cah-zah )
