تستخدم في زمنين :
Present Perfect Continuous
&
Past Perfect Continuous

نستخدم Been عندما نريد التحدث عن شيء مـا حدث في الماضي وانتهى ! ولكن ان كنا نريد أن نتحدث عن شيء ما حدث في الماضي ومستمر حدوثه حتى الآن لا داعي لاستخدام Been
بل نستخدم قاعدة Present Perfect ببساطة ..
أمثلة توضح الاختلاف /
He’s gone to the bank. He should be back soon.
هنا نرى الزمن Present Perfect
ذهب للبنك ولم يعد بعد !
has/have been to … refers to a place which someone has visited sometime in his life. In other words, “has been to” refers to an experience.
هنا توضيح لاستخدام Have\Has been
تشيـر الى أن شخص ما قد قام بزيارة مكـان ما على مدى حياته ! وليس في وقت معيّن
تجربة مررت بها بمعنى آخر
أمثلة :
He’s been to London many times.
I’ve been to Disneyland twice.
هذا بشكل مبسط , والآن نأتي لاستخداماتها الأساسية في الزمنين التاليين.

Present Perfect Continuous
Usage :
Action that started in the past and is still in progress.
نستخدم الجمل في هذا الزمن , لوصف حدوث شيء مـا في الماضي ولازال مستمر الى الآن
أمثلة
I have been playing tennis since he was 14 years old-
(= means he still plays tennis )
She has been doing her homework all the morning.
(=means she haven’t finished them yet ! )
He has been driving for five hours.
(= means he started driving five hours ago, and he’s still driving ! )

Past Perfect Continuous
Usage : when we are talking about something was happening in period of time in the past.
and continued till something else happened !
نستخدم هذا الزمن عندما نتحدث عن شيء ما كان يحدث في الزمن الماضي وكان مستمر حتى انقطع بحدوث شيء آخر .

We had been playing cards for two hours when she arrived.
كنا نلعب الورق لمدة ساعتين حين وصلت
